This is the design i submitted for `Kevin's Help Out Kevin the Code Monkey Contest held a while back.

It turned out to be the winning design and is currently being used at [link]
(at time of writing, `Kevin, the monkey, accidentally wiped his db )

The contest called for a new design for `Kevin's blog. In keeping with the current trend, it had to be a validated XHTML/CSS design. I jumped at the chance to participate because i love making new shit and 90% of my job involves updating old shit. So it was a chance to flex my [obviously limp] creative muscle for the first time in ages

For the web geeks:

• It uses image replacement for the menu buttons


• Validates all round (or at least it did when i made it )


• Uses to an old style switcher from ALA to switch between colour themes


• ems for text size ... text resizes gracefully
